Built by hand. Ridden for life.
PORTLAND, OR — EST. 2019
Steel frames made one at a time in our workshop. No production lines. No compromises.
ABOUT
Chrome started in a garage with a welding torch and an opinion about geometry. Six years later, the garage is bigger. The opinion hasn't changed.

Every frame is 4130 chromoly steel — light enough to race, tough enough to last decades. We build one at a time, because that's the only way to build them right.
FRAMES
Three frames. Pick your ride.
PROCESS
How 12 tubes of chromoly steel become the only frame you'll ever need.
Every build starts with your numbers. Standover, reach, stack — we fit the frame to you, not the other way around.
4130 chromoly steel, TIG-welded by hand. Every joint inspected twice. No fixtures, no jigs — just experience.
Powder coat in your color. Headbadge pressed and pinned. Final check, then it ships.

RIDERS
Small shop.
No plans to grow.

Chrome is three people in a workshop in Portland. We make about 120 frames a year. We could make more. We could hire. We could automate half the process and triple the output.
We won't.
